What are Managed Accounts?

A managed account is a service where a brokerage or trading account for investments purposes, is maintained, and the client provides discretion to an MDA investment manager to make investment decisions on their behalf.

Managed accounts in Australia are regulated by the Australian Securities & Investment Commission. (ASIC) The provider of managed accounts must be registered under an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) with MDA services authorisations to provide such services.
